Octocrylene,OCT also known as UV absorber UV3039, is a viscous light yellow clear oily liquid with a chemical formula of C24H27NO2. It is an oil-soluble UV absorber that is insoluble in water. It helps other oil-soluble solid sunscreens to dissolve. It has the advantages of high absorption rate, non-toxicity, no teratogenicity, good light and thermal stability, etc.
