Isopropyl myristate,IPM CAS 110-27-0 is a colorless to light yellow thin oily liquid, odorless and tasteless. It is soluble in ethanol, ether, and chloroform. It is insoluble in water. It has good lubricity and permeability, can improve the affinity to the skin, is a low-level alcohol ester of higher fatty acids, and has good permeability. It is a solvent and retainer for pigments, fragrances and various additives.
