Phosphorous acid is used as a reducing agent and pesticide intermediate. It is used to manufacture nylon brighteners, plastic stabilizers, synthetic fibers, dibasic lead phosphite, glyphosate, water treatment agent ATMP and potassium dihydrogen phosphite, etc. It is a raw material for manufacturing phosphites, synthetic fibers, plastic stabilizers and organic phosphine pesticides. It can be used as a stabilizer for polycarbonate, an antioxidant for manufacturing nylon 1010, and can also be used to produce high-efficiency water treatment agent ATMP.
